The latest power battery coating technology
With the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry, the market demand for power batteries is also increasing, and the automotive industry is moving towards green and low-carbon development. Lankwitzer , a famous Germany coatings manufacturer , has always insisted on technological innovation under the changing market demand, and has developed a new series of UV power battery coatings with high insulation performance, high adhesion, low VOC, fast curing and other properties for the power battery field.
EvoProtect 455 UV (UE 55-0500/0) was developed by Lankwitzer over a period of 3 years (2015-2018) and put into production in 2018, with a production volume of more than 4,000 tons and a pass rate of more than 98% on the first run. The coating is used in 26 cell coating lines in Germany and China, with a coating volume of well over 350 million cells.

EvoProtect 455 UV (UE 55-0500/7) was developed in 2023 for the Chinese market and locally produced in China. It has a shear strength greater than 12 MPA, low curing energy, compressive strength greater than 6 KV DC, dielectric strength greater than 150 KV/mm, insulation resistance >10 GΩ, and is still able to meet customized needs after 1,000 hours of 85/85 aging.

EvoProtect 455 UV (UE 55-5700/020) is the result of a two-year research and development effort by Lankwitzer from 2021 to 2023, when the coating will be in mass production, with an application volume of more than 7 tons.

EvoProtect 430 (SE 30-5010/2) was developed in 2013 and optimized again in 2022 for frame and box coating. The main technical parameters are as follows: compressive strength >6KV DC, shear strength >13MPa, insulation resistance >10GΩ.

EvoProtect 455 UV (UE 55-3827/0) was developed by Lankwitzer over a two year period (2022-2023). This type of coating is suitable for nickel treated cylindrical cells, it has a compressive strength of more than 6 KV DC and provides good corrosion protection in critical areas such as weld seams.
